Three More Celebrity Passings

As we’re now in the fifth day of 2011 three more celebrities have passed away, this time being two musicians in the music world and an actress…

  * GERRY RAFFERTY: 70s pop music musician/singer whose Top Ten hits include “Baker Street’ and “Right Down The Line”. He was 65 and had liver cancer.

  * MICK KARN: the bassist for the minorly known rock band Japan

  * JILL HAWORTH: British actress who’s best known for appearing in the original play of CABARET(before it became the well-celebrated film),but is best-known for her roles in the genre films HORROR HOUSE(a.k.a.:THE HAUNTING OF HORROR HOUSE),THE MUTATIONS(a.k.a.:THE FREAKMAKER),and TOWER OF EVIL(a.k.a.:BEYOND THE FOG). She was 65.

Otherwise,it looks like we’ll have to hope that there’ll be no more celebrity deaths popping out from nowhere(although that’s nowadays considered a pipe dream) in the next coming weeks(and months).

About stevenmillan

I'm just a simple genre cinema fan(NOT a fanboy and NOT a geek)who widely glimpses onto the latest in cinema news, cinema events, and world news of the day events, and just to warn you(especially if you're one of those politically correct elitists,or strongly despise folks that never brownnose the genre cinema media press):I do sharply bite.
