As The World Submerges…

As I write this latest blog entry,I feel like Yoda in STAR WARS:EPISODE II;ATTACK OF THE CLONES when he sits there, helpless to say or do anything as Senator Palpatine establishes himself in dictator-esque power and orders major change in the universe, for this is how I’ve been feeling since the Presidential reigns of Bill Clinton,George W. Bush, and Barack Obama,as well as after 9/11 occurred, for I’m starting to wonder if that much-promised “Change” has indeed happened or not, since the world around us is as slowly submerging under as our nation’s social and political climates…

    * The Japan Disaster: both a powerful tsunami and a strong earthquake have wrecked Northern Japan, resulting in major building damages, high tolling deaths(and disappearances),and a nuclear powerplant meltdown, for I don’t know in thinking whether this is a signal to the end of the world or that it was just a natural disaster that happened from out of nowhere and powerfully struck down those poor people that are trapped there and have to deal with enduring this horrific disaster(that’s happened to their nation),and I’m sure that the likes of Godzilla(whose incarnations in the last 20+ years have have gone from bad guy to anti-hero to good guy[in his final film GODZILLA:FINAL WARS]),Gamera, and Rodan are as worried and heavily concerned as we are about the state of the econmically wealthy(and healthy)Japan and what’ll become of its future(and its citizens).

    * UFC Buys Strikeforce: Dana White has now officially become the Vince McMahon of the MMA world as UFC’s parent company Zumba has bought their Numero Uno MMA rival Strikeforce and is going to assumilate them as they did with the WEC last year, for anyone that has wondered if that Fedor guy will ever make his UFC debut can now be safe to know that he now somewhat has now that he is partially in the UFC(along with fellow Strikeforce talents Gina Cannero,Cris Cyborg, and former UFC referee Big John McCarthy),via this surprising merger:could a merger with the WWE and TNA(via McMahon buying out Dixie Carter) be not too far behind ?

     * No More Cornette Commentaries: just got the news via YouTube that the Who’s Slamming Who ? wrestling podcasts won’t be having anymore of Jim Cornette’s scathingly truthful vocal glances in the wrestling business, especially after the many harsh things he’s strongly said about the likes of the McMahon,Vince Russo, and the TNA wrestling empire, for I guess he bit off more than he can chew and constantly slamming something eventually get tired out really fast(since I used to frequently slam modern horror and the 2000s/00s’ remake phase, but stopped doing it due to the massive explosion in high quality horror films from Asia and Europe, and the slowly changing climate of horror now that we’re in a new decade[as more quality genre films are pouring in],that being the 2010s/10s),but has promised a reutrn when he feels he has something good to say(since he’s always right on the money and interesting to listen to).

Whew !! As always, this is pretty much all I can say for now(as far as world situations go)…

My Views On Ellen DeGeneres: Major League Crossdressing Goofball Comedienne(And Former Very Mediocre AMERICAN IDOL Judge): ‘Nuff Said !!

About stevenmillan

I'm just a simple genre cinema fan(NOT a fanboy and NOT a geek)who widely glimpses onto the latest in cinema news, cinema events, and world news of the day events, and just to warn you(especially if you're one of those politically correct elitists,or strongly despise folks that never brownnose the genre cinema media press):I do sharply bite.
