The Fall/Winter Box Office A Major Dud ?!

For the last several week(from September through this month),a great many films have been released that haven’t brought home a lot of money and box office revenue to the major studios as was hoped for(with the expection of the most recent TWILIGHT film),for while box office analysts point the finger at skyrising theater ticket prices and the lessened quality of films, the real truth of the matter here is that there’s a lot of stuff that nobody cares about seeing which is the main reason why,for there’s just too many Sundance -esque indie dramas, sequels, remakes, retreads, remakes, overly priced 3-D crapola, and films that are both prequels and remakes in one,for Hollywood needs to just make a better market of films so that theater revenue can easily pick up againsince next year brings forth a lot of shiny bright hope that this will indeed happen.

This Week Is Surely A Very Good Week To Be A Nerdy Genre Cinema Fan,With The On-Line Releases Of The Trailers For WRATH OF THE TITANS,THE DARK KNIGHT RISES,PROMETHEUS,THE EXPENDABLES 2,Dario Argento’s DRACULA 3-D,And THE HOBBIT:Let’s Just Hope That They’re As Good As They Look.

About stevenmillan

I'm just a simple genre cinema fan(NOT a fanboy and NOT a geek)who widely glimpses onto the latest in cinema news, cinema events, and world news of the day events, and just to warn you(especially if you're one of those politically correct elitists,or strongly despise folks that never brownnose the genre cinema media press):I do sharply bite.
