It’s Official: J.J. Abrams To Direct STAR WARS: EPISODE 7

I’ll have to put aisde what I originally was planning on saying for this news tidbid that hit the ‘Net late last night: J.J. Abrams has accepted the job to direct STAR WARS:EPISODE 7.

While I’m happy to hear that this longly awaited project Finally found itself a director,I’m holding this with a grain of salt since I’m not a fan of Abrams’ TV series ALIAS,his last STAR TREK film(which was super mediocre at best[as ambitious as it was at attempting to make the TREK universe cool]),nor his last two MISSION IMPOSSIBLE films(M:I;3,GHOST PROTOCOL[the latter which he produced]),yet I have hope that he’ll be as super ambitious with this upcoming sequel(and its two following sequels/Episodes) as he is with the TREK films(although the chance of it being as muddled as both Abrams’ STAR TREK and the STAR WARS prequels are hanging there in the balance). (Strongly Crossing Fingers That EPISODE 7 Will Be That Damn Good)

2013 Is(So Far) Turning Out To Be A Successful Year For Horror Cinema(As It Usually Is),As HANSEL AND GRETEL:WITCH HUNTERS(Whether You Loved It Or Hated It) Is The Third Horror Film(of The Month) To Have a Number One Box Office Opening Weekend

About stevenmillan

I'm just a simple genre cinema fan(NOT a fanboy and NOT a geek)who widely glimpses onto the latest in cinema news, cinema events, and world news of the day events, and just to warn you(especially if you're one of those politically correct elitists,or strongly despise folks that never brownnose the genre cinema media press):I do sharply bite.
