Controversial genre filmmaker Albert Pyun retires.
Seems that I’ve been slacking off lately and have seen that September is already upon us,for time for another blog entry about a whole lotta topics of the day…
* First off,as the link above describes,prolific genre filmmaker Albert Pyun has decided to throw in the towel and retire from filmmaking(which he’s been secretly hinting at for quite a while) due to his struggle with MS(Multiple Sclerosis),which has unfortunately heavily plagued his health(in recent weeks) and is giving him trouble making the films he deeply loves,with both ROAD TO HELL(which he recently added a few new scenes with his discovery star Joei Fulco)and CYBORG NEMESIS:THE DARK RIFT(which also stars Fulco). While his films range from splendid to hit-and-miss,it’s sad to know that Pyun will no longer be making films and I wish him the bets in his fight with MS.
* What’s with all of these redneck reality TV shows that have been popping up all over TV in the last few months,which range from adventures of wildly bearded backwoods guys hunting for birds and alligators to heavily set ladies and plain janes having their own adventures,to pawn stores’ latest acquiries to cars being super souped up,for it’s just merely boring crapola that nobody cares about yet they’re all making lots of high ratings and major money that’s keeping the stars of these shows “Happy,Happy,Happy !!”,making TOTAL DIVAS look like 60 MINUTES. And don’t get me started up on RIDICULOUSNESS,16 AND PREGNANT(which is now back),TEEN MOMS,and BEING MACI(whoever the fucking hell she is).
* And what’s this new on-line crap about folks bitching at you and telling you to have a cup of Shut The Fuck Up just because you’re not happy about the latest remake that’s happening(or is coming out),Ben Affleck being the new Batman(Money Talks,as far as that subject goes) or whatever crap happens in TNA and the WWE,for everyone has a full fledged right to speak up and say whatever they want and anyone that has a serious problem about it sorely needs to Chill The Fuck Out and just(as The Rock says)Know Your Role And Shut Your Mouth !!
* We’ve lost a lot more celebrities,with writer Elmore Leonard(RUM PUNCH,GET SHORTY) and Spanish genre filmmakier Jose Larraz(VAMPYRES,SYMPTOMS) being the latest casualities descending to the Big Blue Sky above.
And I’m planning a move to somewhere else soon(blog-wise),for I’ll keep you all up on the latest when it officially happens.
RIDDICK Is Now Out In Theaters And INSIDIOUS:CHAPTER 2 Is Coming,For Good Luck To Both Of Those Films Since I’m Surely Not Going To Watch Neither One Of Them…
